Who will perform the installation?
Depending on the scope of work, installation may be completed by one of our trusted subcontractors or specialized installation crews.
Justinβs Flooring and Design oversees the estimating, planning, scheduling, project coordination, and quality control process. Each project is assigned to the crew best suited for the specific type of work being performed.
Customers will have a designated point of contact throughout the project. Justinβs Flooring and Design remains responsible for communication, scheduling, project management, and addressing any workmanship concerns.
Who will be working in my home?
The crew assigned to your project will depend on the type and scope of work. We use installers and subcontractors based on their experience with specific flooring systems, preparation work, repairs, or finish carpentry.
Projects are not assigned solely based on availability. Our goal is to match each project with the crew best qualified to complete the work properly.
Who manages my project?
Each project is assigned a designated project manager or company representative who coordinates scheduling, materials, jobsite communication, and project details.
Customers are not expected to manage subcontractors or coordinate directly with individual installers. Questions regarding scheduling, payments, materials, changes, or workmanship should be directed to your assigned company contact.
How is the quality of subcontracted work controlled?
Each project is clearly scoped before work begins, including preparation requirements, installation standards, and expected finish details.
The assigned project manager or company representative may inspect the work during installation and upon completion. Any workmanship concerns should be reported directly to Justinβs Flooring and Design so they can be addressed promptly.
Are subcontractors covered by the workmanship warranty?
Work completed under contract with Justinβs Flooring and Design is covered according to the workmanship warranty and terms included with your proposal or agreement.
The use of a subcontractor does not remove the companyβs responsibility for covered workmanship issues. Manufacturer warranties for flooring and related materials remain subject to the manufacturerβs terms and installation requirements.
Why does Justinβs Flooring and Design use specialized crews?
Different flooring systems require different skills, tools, and experience. A crew that specializes in carpet may not be the best choice for hardwood, tile, subfloor correction, or detailed finish carpentry.
Using specialized crews allows us to assign the right professionals to each part of the project while maintaining centralized planning, communication, project management, and quality control.
